Pathways Japan serves as the secretariat of the Japan Educational Pathways Network (JEPN), a network organization of educational institutions that promote the admission of refugees, and is working to develop educational pathways in Japan by providing a forum for sharing initiatives at various universities and providing information on international movements. Most recently, two national universities, the University of Tokyo and Tohoku University, have joined the network, expanding the foundation for admitting students with refugee backgrounds to a total of 24 universities and foundations.

At the end of the school year, in March 2025, JEPN held the JEPN Reunion Day, where refugee and displaced students connect with other students, Japanese students, and various people in society. This year,  high school students interested in interacting with refugee and displaced persons students also newly participated, further expanding the circle of interaction.
