In response to inquiries from refugees and displaced persons of any nationality seeking continuation of stay in Japan and opportunities for Japanese language education and higher education, Pathways Japan has been providing information on programs that we can offer, as well as programs offered by other educational institutions and organizations.
When we have received inquiries from students enrolled at Nippon Academy, which is currently under the media coverage, we have provided information on how to continue their studies in Japan.
When we receive inquiries from the displaced persons who have difficulty returning to their countries of origin, including students at the above-mentioned school, about continuing their stay in Japan and receiving education, we will continue to provide them with necessary information and refer them to relevant organizations to protect their rights, without being forced to return to their countries of origin against their will, and enable them to stay and study in a safe environment.
