‘Consortium for Receiving Evacuees from Afghanistan’ established

The Association for Aid and Relief, Shanti Volunteer Association, Pathways Japan (PJ) and Peace Winds Japan, which have been working together to accept evacuees from Afghanistan since August, have now launched the ‘Consortium for Accepting Evacuees from Afghanistan’ with funding from the Rissho Kosei-kai Ichishoku Peace Fund. Consortium” and have launched a website.

The website will serve as a window for the exchange of information and collaboration between those who have served as guarantors, those who will serve as guarantors in the future, support groups and Afghans in Japan, including evacuees, and will promote collaboration between various private sector actors while continuing the dialogue with the government.
